Charles If Charles looks familiar, you may have seen him on television shows and commercials. Charles, who played football for Granada Hills High School and was recruited by UCLA, holds the distinction of being our school's first student. He trained on concrete floors before construction was complete. You can see him in national ad campaigns and TV shows like Bones and General Hospital. In class, Charles exemplifies controlled strength and unending endurance. He lives in Tarzana with his wife and two children. |

Shaun Shaun has directed, starred in and consulted on feature films, television series and video games. Current projects include The Lackey, Apocalypse Children and Spike TV Deadliest Warrior. Shaun is known for his weapons proficiency, speed and incredible acrobatic skills, with seemingly limitless attacks from all directions. Shaun lives in Woodland Hills with his wife and two children. |
Lisa
When she's not training Kung Fu, Lisa spends her time working with various national and local charities. Lisa is known for her uncanny off-timing strikes and relaxed energy, the latter attributed to her Hawaiian heritage. Lisa earned her degree in Communications from UCLA. Go Bruins!

Beau Recognized for his warm smile and diligent work ethic, Beau earned his Black Belt in 2006 under Master Pisa's mentorship program. We are proud to say that Beau, along with his wife Dana, are now Chief Instructor and School Manager of the Academy's Colorado School. Beau is also skilled in the culinary arts. At school functions, his honey bbq ribs are a favorite. |
Dana Dana earned her degree in Psychology from CSUN. She now devotes her time to training and teaching Tai Chi. Dana has proven to be an exceptional instructor with remarkable technical accuracy and ability to articulate the intricacies of forms and techniques. |
